Lauren's Birth Session
Lauren is one of my dearest friends. She actually lives right down the street from me. I remember when she showed me the positive pregnancy test. I was so excited for her! Such a joy! I even was able to go to an ultrasound with her!
Baby Weston was a Christmas baby. Truly the most magical time of year. Christmas decorations were all over St. Tammany Parish Hospital. They had Christmas music playing. It was lovely.
Towards the birth of her pregnancy things started looking a little less than ideal. Her blood pressure was climbing and her doctor kept close tabs. Once she received a diagnosis of preeclampsia, and induction was set. The only cure for preeclampsia is the birth of the child, so she knew this was the safest option for her and Weston.
Lauren had let me know that she really wanted a modest birth session. That is one of the things Iām always happy to do for clients. Iām always happy to cater and give birth clients whatever kind of coverage they want and need.
It was a beautiful birth. Lauren did amazingly well. Inductions are so tough, and she powered through beautifully.
