Triplet's Birth and Fresh 48 Sessions
Melanie contacted earlier in her pregnancy to photograph a special announcement to share with her family that they were expecting. That was followed by a maternity session. Then, you guessed it, their scheduled cesarean. I always offer to go back to the hospital for babies that have a NICU stay, and Melanie and her husband were happy to let me document their full story.
The cesarean went beautifully. Each baby was very small but so strong. Little Tobias, Tidus and Mia were amazing and thriving so they thankfully had a short start at Lakeview Regional Medical Center (Near Mandeville). I will say, as far as hospitals go, they are so easy to work with for documenting birth stories. They let me into the NICU and well baby to document this story and stories I’ve had before.
All the babies are doing beautifully. Melanie is such a good mama. Her husband is a great father too. I’m so honored I could be a part of their journey.
